How We Help
We offer a range of services to support children's mental and emotional well-being, including individual child therapy, family therapy, parent-child interaction therapy, and parenting therapy.
Child Therapy

We address emotional challenges such as anger, anxiety, or depression using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), play therapy techniques & mindfulness. We create a safe and nurturing environment for children to express themselves. Our experienced child therapists use developmentally appropriate tools to help children and teens navigate their emotions, build confidence, and develop problem-solving skills. Through engaging activities, we foster meaningful connections and support each child's unique journey toward healing and growth. Let us be a part of your child's positive transformation!
Family Therapy

Family therapy is different from individual therapy, as the entire family is viewed as the “client”. What does this mean? Instead of focusing on only one family member’s challenges, the family as a whole will be invited to work together in addressing communication barriers, negative interaction cycles, increasing togetherness, setting and enforcing healthy role boundaries, problems solving sources of tension and arguments, and learning effective coping skills. Throughout the process, we remain neutral and act as a “moderator”, providing unbiased feedback and educated assessments.
Parent-Child Interaction Therapy

PCIT is an evidence-based treatment for young children ages 2-7 years old exhibiting behavioral problems. PCIT sessions are conducted through coaching from your child’s therapist. During sessions, you are guided through play techniques and interactions with your child as your therapist observes. You wear an earpiece that allows your therapist to give in-the-moment coaching on skills/techniques you are learning to manage your child’s behaviors. This allows your child to view YOU, the parent, as a confident and calm parent when faced with disciplinary challenges.

Parenting Therapy
These sessions are for parents of children with general parenting concerns or challenges. Sessions are highly personalized based on your presenting needs. Using a positive parenting approach, we work with parents to use encouragement and support in order to teach appropriate behavior to your child. This type of parenting support helps you build happier and healthier relationships between you and your child.
The Process
Three-Step Process for Tailored Child Interventions
1
Free Consultation
Schedule your free 15-minute phone consultation with our child therapy specialist where we will discuss your needs and determine if we are the right fit for your child. Here we can also answer any questions you may have about the process.
2
Intake Assessment
You will then be scheduled for an initial intake assessment. This is a session to build rapport with your child and family. This session involves gathering extensive background information including family dynamics and history, current and past problems, and goals for therapy.
3
Personalized Treatment Plan
Together, we’ll develop a personalized treatment plan, which is an outline of individualized goals and expectations for therapy appropriate for your child's needs. Then, treatment begins as either individual child sessions or family sessions.
